Women's Leadership Academy

Event Details
Applications are now open for the 2026–2027 South Carolina Women in Higher Education Women’s Leadership Academy!

Designed for graduate students, new professionals, and early-career leaders, the Academy offers intentional networking, professional development, and mentorship for women pursuing leadership opportunities in higher education.

Participants will engage in three in-person sessions across South Carolina, two virtual sessions, and the 2027 SCWHE Annual Conference.

The program begins in Fall 2026, and enrollment is limited to 25 women. Apply by September 18, 2026: Click here to apply

  • October: We’ll kick things off at Presbyterian College!
  • November: We’re headed to Furman University!
  • January: We’ll wrap up on a third college campus in another part of the state — final details coming soon!
  • Virtual Sessions will include: Oct – Arezu Corella (ACE Board Member & Arizona State Retiree); and Dec. – Dr. Falecia Williams, President of Prince George Community College)
